Minneapolis, MN – August 1, 2023 –Marani Health, an AI-powered remote pregnancy monitoring platform co-founded by Mayo Clinic, has entered a commercial partnership with UnityPoint Health, a nationally recognized, integrated healthcare system serving over 8 million patients in Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin, for a groundbreaking program focused on hypertension and pregnancy management. This collaborative effort will leverage Marani Health’s cutting-edge M•care System, to monitor and manage hypertension in pregnant patients. The partnership aims to improve the healthcare outcomes for pregnant women with hypertension, benefiting both mothers and babies. Under the partnership, patients will utilize the M•care System, consisting of the M•other App, a cellular-connected weight scale, and a cellular-connected blood pressure cuff, from the comforts of their home. The M•other App, a user-friendly mobile application will enable seamless tracking of weight and blood pressure throughout pregnancy, and the cellular-connected weight scale and a cellular-connected blood pressure cuff will allow for real-time data collection and analysis. The data will be securely transmitted to healthcare providers at UnityPoint Health, who will remotely monitor the patients using the M•care provider portal.
