This summit reaffirmed why we do what we do. And it reignited our drive to push maternal health into a smarter, more equitable future.

Our Origins: A Mission Born at Mayo Clinic

Marani Health was created out of a simple but powerful realization: too many pregnant patients are falling through the cracks of a fragmented health system. Our founder, Ann Holder, saw firsthand how technology could be leveraged to close gaps in care, deliver earlier interventions, and support providers in a more connected way.

Together with clinicians and researchers at Mayo Clinic, we began building technologies and remote monitoring platforms designed specifically for maternal care. From the beginning, our goal was not just to gather data but to make it meaningful and actionable. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) has developed the PATH standards – Plan for Appropriate Tailored Healthcare in Pregnancy – as a framework to improve maternal outcomes by emphasizing proactive, equitable, and data-informed care.
