Carrie is an experienced research professional with 10 + years in both large and small facilities and has been responsible for all aspects of the research process including but not limited to; study acquisition, investigator meetings, study start up and close out procedures, patient recruitment and retention, study documentation and audit review. Before discovering her passion in research, Carrie worked in a variety of Clinical roles. Her clinical experience includes working as a Respiratory Therapist in adult and pediatric/neonatal ICU’s, a Transport Respiratory Therapist for Pediatric and Neonatal patients, a Pulmonary Rehabilitation Coordinator, a Clinical Specialist for the Department of Respiratory in a Level 1 Trauma Center and Pediatric Home Care. Carrie held roles at the University of Minnesota, Abbott Laboratories, Hennepin County Medical Center, and the Mayo Clinic. She holds a degree in Respiratory Therapy from the Mayo School of Health-Related Sciences, a Bachelor of Science in Applied Health from the University of St. Francis, and a Master of Studies in Law in the field of Organizational Ethics and Compliance from the University of St. Thomas.
