Alysa Ulstad is a product development leader with a proven ability to maximize the value of development work from concept through commercialization. She gained versatile knowledge in medical devices across both small businesses and multi-national organizations including Boston Scientific, Galil Medical, and Smiths Medical. With a passion for identifying unmet needs, she works closely with clinicians to translate ideas into products. Her experience as a subject matter expert in design controls, systems engineering, risk management, and usability engineering has led to successful global clearances for devices in pain management, airway management, and interventional oncology. Alysa holds a Master of Science in Bio-engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Bio-engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. She is completing her MBA at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Business.
