Minneapolis, MN –

May 17, 2024 — Marani Health is pleased to announce the appointment of Shelley Boyce to its Board of Directors in connection with the successful completion of a $7 million convertible note offering. Boyce, widely recognized for her visionary leadership and extensive experience in the healthcare industry, brings a wealth of expertise to Marani Health as the company continues its mission to revolutionize maternity care delivery.

As the founder and long-time CEO of MedRisk, Boyce demonstrated her ability to drive change in the healthcare industry. Under her leadership, MedRisk became a leading provider of managed care services for the workers’ compensation industry, delivering exceptional outcomes for both patients and payors. Boyce’s deep understanding of the healthcare landscape and her commitment to improving patient care make her an invaluable addition to the Marani team.

“We are honored to welcome Shelley Boyce to the Marani Board of Directors,” said Ann Holder, CEO. “Shelley’s track record of success and her passion for advancing and driving change in healthcare aligns perfectly with our vision for the future of maternity care. We are confident her insights and leadership will play a pivotal role in guiding Marani as we continue to innovate and transform the maternity care experience for patients, providers and payors.”

“I am excited to join Marani’s Board and to contribute to the company’s mission of improving healthcare access and outcomes,” said Shelley Boyce. “I believe Marani has tremendous potential to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and providers. I look forward to working with the team to drive innovation and positive change in the healthcare industry.”

With Boyce’s addition to the board, the recently announced health equity grant from AWS, and new capital to bridge the company into 2025, Marani is positioned well to continue the rapid adoption of the M•care platform with payors and providers.
